NAID (the National Association for Information Destruction) is the standard bearer in the destruction industry. NAID Certifications are recognized by local, state, and federal governments as the "gold standard" in security policies for document destruction companies.

Data Guardian is one of the few companies in Michigan and Indiana to be Custodial Certified in scanning and imaging and is the only company in Michigan, as of the time of this article, to be certified in all four destruction certifications and in scanning and imaging.
